In an attempt to broaden my blogging horizons and further develop my writing skills I have bravely taken on ,https://yelloweccentricity.com/ The Library,” regarding her affinity, or lack-there-of.
An avid reader and writer, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English and have nearly completed my Master’s Degree, I simply adore books. For as long as I can remember, I’VE had a book in hand. I started reading at four years old, and by five I was reading Little Women and Oliver Twist. Savagely, I tore through Judy Blume; pretending to be The March Sisters and all characters Judy Blume.
There’s nothing like the smell of an old, hardcover book with frayed edges. They always smell just right. Further, walking into a library evokes such a sense a sense of nostalgia; so many outstanding artists and poets alike are housed in one place; The Library.
This is where Yellow Eccentricity and I differ (https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/51564255/posts/1328820802).
Yellow Eccentricity is not a fan of the written word. She’d much prefer an electronic device for her reading pleasure. To me, this is unnatural, but, hey, to each his (or her) his own!
