While I have been inspired by many, many authors and their respective quotes, one has stuck with me since my Junior Year of college. As a Bostonian, Fall has long been my favorite season. Don’t get me wrong, I love my weekends spent lounging on the beach, but there is something so unique and refreshing about the crisp air and renewal that Fall never ceases to deliver. The beauty of the foliage is nearly indescribable, and I consider myself amongst the luckiest of citizens to live in a part of the country that experiences this metamorphosis annually.
Gerard Manley’s, Spring and Fall, contains my favorite quote, “Goldengrove unleaving,” for it encompasses the very feelings I have as I drive down the street or hike our local hills and admire all that Fall and its beauty has to offer.
